1. Nature of our services
modelsbythor provides bespoke, custom creative and development services — AR Lenses and filters, AI systems, websites, apps and 3D experiences. Because each project is made specifically for you and involves dedicated time and resources from the moment work begins, our refund terms reflect the custom nature of this work.
2. Deposits & advance payments
Most projects require an advance deposit to reserve your slot and begin work. This deposit covers initial discovery, planning and production time and is non-refundable once work has started.
3. Cancellations
- Before work begins: if you cancel after paying a deposit but before any work has started, you may request a refund of the deposit minus a small administrative fee.
- After work begins: you will be billed for all work completed and resources committed up to the cancellation date. Any remaining balance for unstarted milestones may be refunded.
- Milestone projects: completed and approved milestones are non-refundable.
4. Revisions instead of refunds
If you are not satisfied with a deliverable, please tell us. Each engagement includes a defined number of revision rounds, and we will work with you in good faith to get it right. We believe most concerns are best resolved through revisions rather than cancellation.
5. When refunds may apply
A refund of amounts paid for not-yet-delivered work may be considered if:
- We are unable to deliver the agreed work, or
- A duplicate or incorrect payment was made (we'll refund the excess promptly), or
- A specific written agreement provides for it.
6. What is non-refundable
- Deposits once work has commenced.
- Completed and approved deliverables or milestones.
- Third-party costs already incurred on your behalf (e.g. licences, stock, fonts, paid platform features, ad spend).
- Outcomes on third-party platforms (Snapchat, Meta, TikTok), including approval, reach or monetisation, which are outside our control.
7. How to request a refund
Email tusharvig2000@gmail.com with your project details and reason for the request. We aim to review and respond within 7 business days. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method and may take additional time to appear depending on your bank or provider.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The version published here applies to engagements entered into after it is posted, and individual agreements may set out specific terms that take precedence.
